Hometown Hollywood (a 12" mini Gene) was officially unveiled by the fabulous Mel Odom at the Jason Wu Event VI: Iconic and is inspired by the classic 16" Hello Hollywood, Hello Gene Marshall doll.
Platinum blond mini Gene is a vision of Hollywood Haute Couture, wearing "Hometown Hollywood".
From the feathered top of her stylish, veiled hat to the toes of her off-white pumps, Gene radiates the allure of that perfect cinematic blend of artifice and intense physical beauty.
Her fitted, two-piece suit is meticulously tailored in her trademark shade of powdery blue wool and luxuriously draped in a detachable, white 'fox' collar and matching muff.
A white, capped sleeve piqué blouse peeps out from under its lace bib and is pinned at the neckline with a 'gold' and 'diamond' broach.
Her hair is worn in bangs and a short, rolled pageboy.
White gloves and a sweet corsage for her fur collar finish this glamorously winsome look.
